  Muthoot Finance Q2 profit rises 27% to Rs 2,977 cr

  Muthoot Finance on Saturday reported a 27 per cent growth in standalone profit at Rs 2,977 crore in the September quarter.

  The company had a profit of Rs 2,345 crore in the July-September quarter of FY26.

  Total income rose to Rs 8,842 crore in the July-September quarter, from Rs 6,442 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago, Muthoot Finance said in a regulatory filing.

  Interest income rose to Rs 8,730 crore in Q2 of FY27, from Rs 6,304 crore in Q2 of FY26. - PTI

  Birla Corp Q2FY'27 moderates to Rs 37cr on higher input costs and weak cement prices

  Birla Corporation Ltd on Saturday reported a 58.9 per cent year-on-year moderation in consolidated net profit to Rs 37 crore for the September quarter, as higher input costs and weak cement prices hit margins.

  The company had posted a net profit of Rs 90 crore in the same period a year ago.

  Consolidated revenue rose 9 per cent to Rs 2,441 crore from Rs 2,233 crore a year earlier. Consolidated EBITDA declined to Rs 254 crore from Rs 332 crore. - PTI

  Ramkrishna Forgings, a leading player in forged metal products, on Saturday posted a consolidated net profit of Rs 70.59 crore for September quarter FY27, backed by strong revenue growth.

  It had incurred a loss of Rs 9.5 crore in the second quarter of preceding 2025-26 financial year, the company said in a statement.

  During July-September FY27, revenue rose to Rs 1,405.42 crore from Rs 907.53 crore in the same period a year ago. EBITDA increased to Rs 256.23 crore from Rs 122.54 crore. - PTI

  Kirloskar Ferrous Industries on Saturday posted 10 per cent rise in standalone net profit at Rs 97.6 crore for September quarter FY27, backed by increased revenues.

  It had clocked Rs 88.5 crore profit after tax (PAT) a year ago, the company said in a statement.

  During the quarter, revenue increased by 17 per cent to Rs 2,046.7 crore from Rs 1,755 crore a year ago.

  EBITDA rose 4 per cent to Rs 223 crore in Q2 FY27 from Rs 214.4 crore in the year-ago quarter. - PTI

  Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd (ABFRL) on Saturday reported a twofold increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 53.05 crore for September quarter FY27.

  The company had posted a net profit of Rs 23.44 crore during July-September FY26, according to a regulatory filing from ABFRL.

  Revenue from operations rose to Rs 2,265.61 crore from Rs 2,037.90 crore earlier.

  Total expenses of ABFRL, which handles Pantaloons and Style Up, along with a host of ethnic brands, were at Rs 2,224.99 crore, up 9.71 per cent in the second quarter of FY27.
